Challenge

To support the larger branding initiative being driven out of the London office, Orrick needed to manage thousands of online Lawyer Bios and make it easier to update their info on the site

Solution

Jon Upchurch, resident Sitecore MVP, devised an internal custom Sitecore architecture, BIO Tool, to allow attorneys to manage their own bios (or those delegated with that task) with minimal oversight from administrative content authors. Approved bio content then displays on the public website. A custom workflow was built to allow for either submitting sets of changes for approval, or discarding those changes.

The bio search center included a custom search interface for advanced filtering. Developer Dustin Buckenmeyer, customized a front-end knockout.js framework to tie it all together.

Paragon’s team also conducted training classes customized to Orrick’s website. The training focused on content author tasks, as well as tricks and tips on how to use both the Page Editor & Content Editor, get the most out of the Rick Text Editor, managing the Media Library and much more.

The Digital Marketing Suite (DMS) training covered: Profiling, Engagement Values & Goal Setting, Personalization and Email Campaigns to help ensure Orrick’s team gets long-term sustainable value from their new online customer experience platform.
